Pearl Strips — what's in the first box.
Our first SKU is a 14-day hydrogel film at 6% hydrogen peroxide. Here's what's actually inside the carton and why.
Photo: Beyzaa Yurtkuran / PexelsThe first Wytte product ships in 2026. Pearl Strips: a 14-day hydrogel whitening course built for the Indian premium consumer.
Here's what's in the box, and why.
The strips
- Hydrogel film — flexible, adheres to dry enamel without slipping, peels off cleanly without residue
- 6% hydrogen peroxide gel — at the Indian and EU consumer ceiling for safe at-home use
- 30 minutes per session, once daily, 14 days total
- 14 individually sealed pouches — paired strips (upper + lower) in each
- Smile-zone coverage — front 6 teeth upper, front 6 teeth lower
- Vegan, no animal-derived ingredients
The carton
The carton specifications were not afterthoughts. Each detail was chosen:
- 350 gsm FSC-certified paperboard — sturdier than industry standard
- Debossed wordmark on the front face — pressed in, not printed on top
- Single foil hit — champagne sparkle, no other foil elements
- Matte uncoated surface — reads cosmetic, not pharmacy
- Internal foil barrier — protects the peroxide from light and oxygen during shelf life
- No plastic blister — recyclable polylaminate inner pouches only
- No cellophane outer wrap
What we left out
We could have added:
- ❌ An LED activator light → doesn't measurably help and adds plastic
- ❌ A shade guide → most people prefer photographs (they're more honest)
- ❌ A storage case → the carton itself is the case
- ❌ A "boosting serum" → marketing, not chemistry
- ❌ A whitening pen → wrong product for first launch
The box does one thing. Well.
What's inside the inner sleeve
The folded inner sleeve carries:
- Day-by-day instructions in plain language (not regulator legalese)
- Sensitivity protocol with specific timing
- Diet guidelines for the 14-day window
- A small calendar to tick off completed days
- A note on the first 100 — yours if you're in that group
The opening day perks
The first 100 boxes ship with:
- Hand-pressed champagne wax seal on the outer wrap
- Folded note from the studio, real ink, signed
- Hand-numbered inner sleeve (1 of 100, etc.)
After 100, the wax stops. It's a thank-you, not a continuing feature.
Pricing
Pearl Strips will list at ₹3,499 for the 14-day course. Below the global premium-strip average; above the standard pharmacy whitening kit.
The math:
- ₹250 per day of whitening
- ~₹700-1,000 per shade-lifted (based on typical 3-5 shade results)
- One course typically lasts 6-12 months of held shade
It is not the cheapest option on the market. It is the option that prioritises the formula, the carton, and the customer experience.
